This ``Erratum'' concerns the authors' paper [ibid. 140, No. 3, 685-701 (1994; Zbl 0833.55007)]. They remark that ``the use of additivity in the proof of Theorem 2.6 in not correct''. Instead, they provide a theorem ``equally suited'' for the applications.
