We introduce a metric on the set \(BW (X,Y)\) \((CBW (X,Y))\) of (continuous) mappings of bounded sets of a metric space \((X, \rho)\) into bounded sets of a metric space \((Y, \rho_1)\). The elements of \(BW (X,Y)\) are called weakly bounded mappings. We investigate a special group \(HB (X) \subset CBW (X,X)\) of homeomorphisms.
