We consider a stationary non-isothermal flow of nonlinear viscoelastic fluid. We use the generalized Maxwell model which is exploited for description of flow of (melted) liquid polymers. Our main attention is to construct an efficient grid method for analysis of flows in flat aperture canals with nonuniformly heated walls. The problems of that kind arise frequently, for instance, in mathematical simulation of plastics processing technology.
