Approximations by operators are very important and useful in several contexts. The authors have here, in continuation of their earlier work, dealt with the question of approximating functions with the help of linear quasi-positive and linear positive operators (l.p.o.) on a finite segment. Three theorems with proof are provided. Possible applications to some estimation problems are also indicated.
