The paper treats an optimal control problem for laminar boundary layer of an ideal dissociating gas. The following variational problem is under consideration: to find a continuous control which realizes minimum of heat flux from boundary layer to flow about surface under given restrictions on power of cooling system and under given constraints. It is proved that under some conditions this problem admits a first integral.
