The problem of synthesizing a control algorithm for a multidimensional nonlinear system with constrained state and control is considered. The method for constructing a control algorithm is based on the differential-geometric approach to nonlinear systems and the concept of the inverse of a dynamics. However, heuristic devices as well as mathematical modelling are also important elements. These techniques are applied to the control of the spatial motion of an air/spacecraft on the spatial prelanding maneuver segment.
