A way to approach the uncertainty of information is to attach sets of (possible) truth degrees to sentences, instead of truth degrees. Starting from any type of truth degree structures this leads to the study of their set expansions. This is the authors first topic. On this basis, furthermore, he introduces info-algebras as algebraic counterparts of such set expansions and gives adequate axiomatisations by sequent calculi for different logics characterised by particular classes of info-algebras.
