We consider a boundary value problem that describes a contact between a beam and a rigid stamp in precise statement. Here, the equation of state is the most general and takes account of such properties of the material of the beam as the elasticity, plasticity, and creep. The presence of two constraints in the form of inequalities imposed on a solution determines the main difficulty in studying the problem. The principal result of the article consists in proving the existence theorem for solutions.
