The moments of the density of zeros of orthogonal polynomials defined by a three-term recurrence relation are derived from the coefficients of the above relations. The explicit numerical computation of these moments by using the generalized Lucas polynomials appearing in the formulas are performed for some cases coming from mathematical physics problems.
