The authors study the two-dimensional oil-water flow for a horizontal well in a medium with double porosity. The study is made by using a streamline model; the solutions of the corresponding mathematical model are obtained by the method of characteristics. Saturation distributions for the fractured system and for the matrix system are presented, and a formula for the time of water free production is given. The last section presents a numerical example.
