This paper studies the existence of minimal and maximal solutions of boundary value problems for semilinear elliptic systems of operator-differential equations. The extremal solutions are obtained as limits of monotone sequences. A linear modification of the considered problem is given. The unique solutions of these modified problems are elements of sequences which are convergent in appropriate spaces.
