Constructing a PF ring \(XL(R)\), the author deals with equivalent conditions for \(XL(R)\) to be a coherent ring. Nilpotent elements of \(XL(R)\) are also identified. A result on the additive structure of PF rings is also given. To help the reader, the author could have given meanings of the symbols used as notation.
