The authors study the topological property on \(X\) that characterizes the completeness of a certain normed linear topology on the space \(\Lambda(X)\) of continuous linear functionals on \(C(X)\), where \(C(X)\) is the space of continuous real-valued functions on \(X\) with the compact open topology.
