The authors give some number theoretic ``folding instructions'' for folding regular star-gons and regular convex \(n\)-gons, in particular for products of distinct Fermat numbers. Their investigations are in a wider sense related to Gauss' classical construction of the 17-gon, which in fact works for products of distinct Fermat primes.
