It is proven that the spectrum of the Hamiltonian of an \(N\)-particle quantum system (of atoms or molecules) in the homogeneous electric field is purely absolutely continuous. Compared to previous papers in this domain only a slow decay of potentials at infinity is required and Coulomb type local singularities are allowed.
