This short note contains an elementary, well readable proof of the inequality \[ \ln \ln N- {\textstyle {1\over 2}}\leq \sum_{p\leq N} {\textstyle {1\over p}}\leq \ln \ln N+2 \ln \ln \ln N+ 2\cdot \ln 5+2 \qquad (N\geq 2). \]
