Pointed Taylor bubble revisited (Q1908773)

The author shows an application of the higher-order constraint at the tip to establishing numerically the uniqueness of the pointed bubble. An improved estimate of the speed of the pointed bubble is presented. The best estimate of this speed is \(F= 0.35784\), which is accurate at least up to four decimal places. The asymptotic behaviour of the Fourier coefficients for this bubble is given by \(a_n\sim m^{-1.35}\), which is accurate up to two decimal places.
