The paper is devoted to examine, review, and classify the numerous, known in the literature, stability tests of discrete systems. Moreover, some of the tests have been extended: from stability conditions to zero location and/or from real to complex polynomials. The proofs of the tests stated originally without a proof have been provided and some existing inaccuracies have been corrected too.
