Subordination of resolvents (Q1908912)

The authors prove a necessary and sufficient condition in order that a bounded operator \(V= V_0\) gives rise to a resolvent family \((V_\lambda )_{\lambda\geq 0}\) subordinated to a given resolvent \((U_\lambda )_{\lambda\geq 0}\) with bounded \(U_0\). They give several applications including the complete maximum principle of the subordinated resolvent.
