The authors have used the two-function minimax theorem to study the existence for the hemivariational inequality problem coupled with recession analysis. It is shown that a robot hand grasping problem can be studied in the general framework of hemivariational inequalities. The results obtained in this paper are very interesting and may have far reaching applications in pure and applied sciences.
