We derive a system of linearized equations of neutral equilibrium of refined theory of three-layer shells with transversely-soft aggregate in order to investigate the stability of their subcritical stressed-deformed state. We give possible variants of simplification of such a system. Basing on the obtained equations and neglecting subcritical bending of exterior layers, we solve problems of stability of infinitely wide plates of a symmetric structure under various conditions.
