A practically normal condition which guarantees the convergence of Hermite-Fejér interpolation of higher order is given. It extends the results of \textit{G. Grünwald} [Acta Math. 75, 219-245 (1942; Zbl 0028.05001)] and the reviewer [Constructive Approximation 10, No. 4, 439-450 (1994; Zbl 0820.41003)].
