The author investigates ergodic decomposition of probability measures on the configuration space. There are considered two kinds of measures. The first one is a \(\text{Diff}_0 X\)-quasi-invariant probability measure \(\mu\), where \(X\) is a connected para-compact \(C^\infty\)-manifold and \(\text{Diff}_0 X = \{f \mid f\) is a diffeomorphism on \(X\) with compact support\}. The second kind of measures is the collection of Gibbs measures which occur in statistical mechanics.
