M. Morse proved a trapping result for quasi-geodesic curves in Hadamard manifolds, namely that the segment lies within bounded distance from the geodesic arc connecting its endpoints. The authors prove an analogous trapping result for quasiminimizing submanifolds in Hadamard manifolds \(M\) whose sectional curvature is also bounded from below and use this estimate to solve existence of asymptotic Plateau problems.
