The author proposes an algorithm for constructing a shift register with linear feedback function that reproduces a given cycle of states. This algorithm supplements the known synthesis algorithms for the case of a linear feedback function with inversion. In some cases, when the length of a cycle is close to \(2^n\), the proposed algorithm requires less labor than the known algorithms.
