The authors investigate the problem of identification of dynamic systems and study a suitable mathematical apparatus. Central attention is paid to an analysis of topology and uniformity structures, which are useful in formulating the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a model of input actions of the dynamic system. The problem of a ``common standpoint'' in the general identification theory is solved in the paper.
