An algorithm for solving general systems of conservation laws on arbitrary grids is developed. This algorithm has second-order accuracy. The solver applied to the generalized Riemann problems within the proposed method is described in detail. Furthermore, some applications, as e.g., the implementation of grid refinements, the usage of locally Lagrangian grids for the computation of sharp contact-discontinuities, and the solution of systems of conservation laws in moving domains, are discussed.
