\textit{R. T. Samaratunga} and \textit{J. J. Sember} [Summability and substructures of \(2^N\), ibid. 12, No. 1, 11-21 (1988; Zbl 0704.40006)] established an interesting generalization of the (scalar) Hahn-Schur theorem on summability. The Hahn-Schur theorem has been generalized by several authors to vector or group valued form. In this paper the author establishes two theorems which are the vector form of the result of Samaratungan and Sember.
