The author considers the tangent maps to CR-diffeomorphisms of real hypersurfaces in \(\mathbb{C}^2\), and he uses the notion of flat normal form to derive a system of differential equations for such maps. The set of the solution of this system is proved to be at most 5-dimensional. Using this result the author obtains a new proof of the result on the continuation of a CR-map of one hypersurface into another to a holomorphic mapping.
