A linear 2 parameter eigenvalue problem is treated. Each of the 2 equations gives a set of curves in the parameter plane, and a bisection procedure is used to determine their intersections. Adding a definiteness condition to the underlying Sturm-Liouville problems, error bounds can be given. Rounding errors are analyzed. Numerical examples of 2 point boundary value problems are reported.
