The author proves all the conjectures of \textit{D. Dumont} [Discrete Math. 139, No. 1-3, 469-472 (1995; Zbl 0823.05003)] concerning some symmetric polynomial sequences which are the refinements of the Genocchi numbers and also presents a new symmetric model for the Dumont-Foata polynomials in terms of Motzkin paths.
