The abstract Cauchy problem with infinite delay \(x'(t) = Ax(t) + F(t, x_t)\), \(x_0 = \varphi\) in a Banach space is investigated and a method of approximation of its solution with the solutions of equations with bounded delay is developed. An emphasis on the existence of periodic solutions is given.
