We investigate heat and mass transfer along a vertical plate under the combined buoyancy force effects of thermal and species diffusion in the presence of a transverse magnetic field. The boundary layer equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations. The solution is dependent on the Prandtl number, Schmidt number, magnetic parameter, and on the relative buoyancy force between species and thermal diffusion. Numerical results are presented.
