The article extends the theorem about so-called Morse relations [see \textit{R. Bott}, Bull. Am. Math. Soc., New Ser. 7, 331-358 (1982; Zbl 0505.58001)] to stationary Lorentzian manifolds with boundary which satisfy a convexity property. Such physically relevant cases as Schwarzschild and Reissner-Nordstrøm spacetime are covered by these results.
