Spectral expansion of one-pair complex integral operators (Q1918679)

The authors extend M. G. Krein's method of directing functionals (elaborated for symmetric operators with dense domain of definition) to isometric operators and symmetric operators with non-dense domain of definition. As an application the spectral expansions for so-called one-pair integral operators are obtained, the uniqueness of corresponding spectral functions are proved.
