The author proves an inequality for volumes of two nondegenerate simplices in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) and shows that his results can be formulated as the Yang-Zhang inequality [\textit{L. Yang} and \textit{J. Zhang}, Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 27, 203-214 (1983; Zbl 0519.51013)]. Then he deals with a problem concerning a corollary of the above inequality and closes his paper with some open problems.
