The method \(y_{n + 1} - y_n = 2h y_n' y_{n+1}'/(y_n' + y_{n + 1}')\) for the numerical solution of the Cauchy problem is investigated. This method is \(A\)-stable and \(L\)-stable for solving stiff differential equations.
