The Cauchy problem for equations of the form (1) \(\Delta u(x, y)= Bu(x, y)\) is considered. Here \(B\) is a linear operator acting in the Hilbert space \(H\), \(u(x, y)\in H\). Under some conditions the uniqueness and stability of the corresponding Cauchy problem are proved.
