This paper presents the formulation and the solution of a state feedback control problem for condition/event (C/E) systems. A C/E system is introduced as a continuous-time discrete-event system with two classes of symbolic-valued input signals: piecewise continuous condition signals and pointwise non-null event signals. State transitions in C/E systems can be enabled or disabled by the condition input and they can be forced by event input. To represent the causal structure of condition and event feedback, a new feedback composition is defined. The problem formulation and solution procedures are illustrated by a liquid level control example.
