This paper contains explicit examples of semidirect products of \((\mathbb{Z}/p)^2\) by normal subgroups \((\mathbb{Z}/p)^n\), \(\mathbb{Z}^n\), \((S^1)^n\), respectively, where the Lyndon-Hochschild-Serre spectral sequence for the cohomology of groups with \(\mathbb{Z}/p\)-coefficients contains nontrivial differentials.
