    Robust control of linear MIMO continuous systems with a delay at the input is investigated. The control is assumed to be a discrete-time piecewise constant vector function; the output is considered to be measured at discrete time instants, too. The problems of asymptotic stability of the trivial motion \(y= 0\) or tracking of given other trajectories are treated, if only the system's order and the transfer ratio of the system are given. The approach is based on a representation of the system by a set of minimal parametric discrete models; in each subset the system dynamics is approximated by a model with only one undetermined parameter.
