The author studies here some connections between approximating properties of cardinal splines and the entire functions of exponential type. The interest of this study lies in the fact that one may solve some problems of approximation of certain classes of functions defined on \(\mathbb{R}\) by entire functions of exponential type. The work is a continuation of some work carried out by the author earlier in a Chinese publication.
