On a certain class of minimum effort problems in Banach spaces (Q1923443)

The authors give a characterization of the solution of the problem: Minimize \(\{ |u|^p +|\eta -Tu|^p\}^{1/p}\), \(1\leq p < \infty\), such that \(|\xi -Su|\leq \epsilon\), where \(T\) and \(S\) are bounded linear operators on Banach spaces. The result is applied to a linear control system.
