The author adapts the collocation scheme to the Galerkin method with finite elements which provides high accuracy and fast convergence. This method is applied to systems of integral equations of the first kind with logarithmic principal part on the boundary curves \( \Gamma \). A classical asymptotical error analysis is given. The numerical results are in excellent agreement with this error analysis.
