The Daniell integral is constructed by a process of completion of a vector lattice of real-valued functions and extension of the integral defined on that lattice. In this note we present a similar construction which produces a complete space of integrable functions with values in an arbitrary Banach space. Since the standard construction is based on order of real-valued functions, our construction requires an essentially different approach.
