Half-flat structures on indecomposable Lie groups (Q1928550)

In this paper, the authors analyze half-flat \(\mathrm{SU}(3)\)-structures on six dimensional Lie algebras the nilradical of which has dimension five. It is shown that such structures are characterised by \(2\)- and \(3\)-forms on the algebra subjected to certain algebraic conditions. Analyzing the various types of nilradicals, conditions fort he existence of half-flat structures are obtained, resulting in a complete list of Lie algebras of the type considered that admit them. This paper is a natural continuation of previous work by the authors [Transform. Groups 17, No. 1, 123--141 (2012; Zbl 1246.53072)].
