The authors study axially and biaxially monogenic functions. The aim is to find in both cases explicit Cauchy-Kovalevskaya extensions. The basic tool is Clifford analysis. In these considerations the Funk-Hecke theorem plays an important role. In particular, biaxially monogenic functions of vector and para-bi-vector type are obtained. An interesting class of special monogenic functions is described. There are relations to former results of the authors.
