The author discusses five ways to parametrise the class \(\mathcal D\) of Riemann surfaces that are conformally equivalent to a twice-punctured disc. Five natural parameters for the class \(\mathcal D\) are introduced. Some exact relationships between these parameters and collars in a twice-punctured disc are investigated.
