The aim of this working book is to familiarize students from faculties of engineering or natural science with the notions from a first year mathematical analysis course. It consists of eleven chapters: 1. Functions; 2. Complex numbers; 3. Sequences and series; 4. Limits and continuity; 5. Differentiability; 6. Integration; 7. Vectors; 8. Linear systems and matrices; 9. Functions with several variables; 10. Differentiability of functions with several variables; and 11. Integration of functions with several variables. All examples and exercises have complete worked-out solutions. For the accompanying textbook see [the author, Höhere Mathematik kompakt. Heidelberg: Springer Spektrum (2013; Zbl 1296.00023)].
