The paper presents a family of nonconforming finite elements for fourth-order problems for a simplicial triangulation with a high order convergence rate. The authors provide a unified way for the construction of the elements with respect to the dimension, with the aim of balancing the accuracy and the complexity of the finite element method for fourth-order problems. The method can be employed in arbitrary dimensions. Numerical examples are also presented.
